Esan
Baptist Mission is centered in North East Thailand (Esan) near
Vientiane, the capitol of Communist, Laos.
The purpose of Esan Baptist Mission is threefold: 1) to evangelize, 2) plant local New Testament churches, and 3) teach the Word of God.
RADIO & OTHER EVANGELISM
Our evangelistic work is centered in 1) Our Word Of Life Radio Program; 2) Witnessing one on one; 3) enrolling students in a simple salvation correspondence course; and 4) handing out tracts in mass.
CHURCH PLANTING:
At the present we have three mission works.
1. Word Baptist here in the Provincial Capitol of Nong Kai on the Mekong River which forms the border line with Laos.
2. Word Baptist in town of Phon Phisai which is about an hour down river.
3. A work in the village of Chum Chank about half an hour further down river from Phon Phisai.
We have a combined membership of over 40 souls (none of these works are organized into churches as of yet, so all the members are technically members of our sending church in Texas)
ESAN BAPTIST BIBLE INSTITUTE
In addition to teaching and preaching in the regular services we also minister through Esan Baptist Bible Institute. Several Preachers have received training through the Bible school. John Henry is now teaching 2 pastors regularly.
Our correspondence school has processed over 5,000 lessons for more than 400 students.
In addition we do teaching over the Internet.
