Our sending church is Central Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana [Phone: (225) 272-5592] where Dr. B. G. Buchanan is the Pastor.
Pastor Buchanan and the members of Central Baptist
are our only mission board. In the event of unethical or immoral behavior or
heretical doctrine our Pastor and Church will sit in judgment of us.
We believe that the local New Testament
Baptist church is the pillar
and ground of the Truth and is God's earthly guard of Scriptural doctrine.
We believe in the pre-tribulation Rapture of all the saved of this Church Age, and in the pre-millennial return of Christ. .
We oppose the modern bible versions that
are based on the Roman Catholic manuscripts that were adoped from
Origin, propagate by Westcott and Hort, and protulated by Liberals and
Modernists.
We are zero point Calvinists. God is no respecter of persons! He chose the fairest and easiest method imaginable to save people. People are saved by the free grace of God which is offered to "whosoever believeth" in Christ Jesus' death, burial and resurrection. One receives salvation through faith in the Messiah's blood atonement for his sins. We hold to the preservation (not perseverance) of the saints for salvation. It is God who keeps us eternally saved; not ourselves!
We understand the Scriptures dispensationally. However, we do not believe there are different ways to be saved in the various dispensations. We do not hold to Hyper-dispensationalism! We believe all people of all ages are saved the same way, by grace through faith in Christ Jesus (the Anointed Saviour) alone. No one has ever or ever will be saved by works or any mixture of works and grace. Old Testament saints were saved by grace by looking forward to the coming of Messiah. Since the Lord's coming we are now saved by grace by look back to what He did for us on the cross.
Furthermore, we stand against
Ecumenicalism,
Liberalism, and the
Charismatic Movement.
